CNN Senior Producer Kevin Bohn attempts to link WV coal mine accident to GOP

CNN has ultimately reached a new low in "journalism."  In order to continue their on-going week long campaign against Republicans, Republican National Committee, and conservatives in general, CNN's Kevin Bohn has just added to the hit campaign.  Bohn has been looking into the political contributions for the CEO of the Coal Mine company in West Virginia. Apparently, while the rest of the media focuses on finding survivors, Bohn is more worried about where the CEO stands politically in order to link him to the GOP.

Here's a snippet of the article:
People associated with Massey Energy, along with its political action committee, donated more than $307,000 to federal candidates since the 1990 election cycle, according to an analysis from the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics. The center found that 91% of that money went to Republicans.

In addition, the company's CEO, Don Blankenship, has personally donated more than $60,000 since 2000 - all of it to GOP candidates and causes.
Why is CNN making this political in the first place?  Why else would they unless they had some sort of agenda--which is clear if you simply look at all the political reporting they have done in the last week.  If CNN wanted to give out any hint of fairness, it would have also reported on the political contributions of Bernie Madoff.

Let us make note that this is certainly a tragedy, and our hearts and prayers go out to the families of the victims.

  1. Hi,
Lot of global tensions is going on at this time. Japan is expected to pull out its money from the global market as they want to revamp their country now. In current scenario anything can happen in the Share market Investors are advised not to panic and stay invested only safe traders and investors should exit their long positions on every high and one can use every decline as an opportunity to enter market again.
